John Singleton
John grew up in Ashburton, attending Ashburton college. John studied at both Canterbury and Otago Universities. He graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1992 and a Bachelor of Business studies in 2002. John began his practicing life in Raumati and since then has worked in Newtown and since 2010 has practiced in Karori.
John has a very loyal following due to his caring expertise and his gift of making a dental visit feel like a catch-up with a friend.
John enjoys all aspects of dentistry but he has a special interest in complex restorative cases.
When not working John enjoys spending time with his family, cooking and eating, watching cricket and DIY.
Alex Sak
Alex grew up in Wellington, attending both Rongotai and Wellington college before heading to the University of Otago to study dentistry. Alex graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2020.
Alex joined Singleton Dental in 2022 and has built a loyal following due to his kind and gentle approach and his focus on patient-centred care.
When not working Alex can usually be found on one of Wellington’s golf courses. He also enjoys badminton, Formula 1 and the occasional KFC.
Willie Nelson
Willie grew up on the Kapiti coast attending boarding school in Wanganui. He then spent a year in South Africa before heading to Otago university to complete his studies. Willie graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2015 and began practicing in the Wairarapa. Willie has worked at both the Lower Hutt Hospital and Hawkes Bay Hospital dental and maxillofacial departments developing an interest in oral surgery, special care dentistry and paediatrics. He now practices 2 days a week at Wellington hospital and 3 days at Singleton Dental. Willie enjoys all aspects of dentistry, and in particular ensuring patients are as comfortable as possible throughout their dental treatment.
Outside of work Willie loves watching sport, playing golf, cooking and trying out new recipes and restaurants, as well as spending time with his friends and family.
Sarah Lee
Sarah is a dentist with firsthand experience as a former patient, and is committed to ensuring her patients feel the utmost comfort during their visits. Her vibrant and affable demeanor instantly sets patients at ease as they enter her care, fostering a welcoming environment. Sarah grew up in Wellington attending Wellington Girls College before heading to the University of Otago. Sarah graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2023
Sarah is committed to delivering optimal treatment tailored to her patients’ individual needs. She places great importance on clear and comprehensive communication, ensuring patients feel well-informed and supported throughout their treatment journey.
Beyond dentistry, Sarah unwinds by playing the bass guitar, indulging in a good book, and maintaining an active lifestyle through activities like Pilates and badminton.
Allie Eggleston
Allie grew up in Christchurch before moving to Dunedin to study at Otago University. She graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (Distinction) in 2015.
Since graduating she has practiced in Christchurch, Wellington and Australia.
Allie has experience working in community and hospital settings, as well as in private practice. She is interested in all areas of dentistry, and particularly enjoys building relationships with her patients whilst helping them to feel at ease during appointments.
Outside of dentistry Allie enjoys tramping, running, yoga, listening to music and spending time with her friends and family.
